Activist Scholar

Activist Graduate School is looking for an intellectually rigorous, social movement engaged Activist Scholar. The Activist Scholar will work with the Program Director to develop original content for Activist Graduate School website and community. We are looking for an academically-minded activist-oriented writer with strong research skills. The successful candidate will be expected to research and write articles on topics related to the pedagogy of activism. Activist or organizing experience is essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong writing and research skills

  • Ability to write articles that appeal to both academic and activist audiences

Compensation:

  • This is a freelance writer position. You will be paid per published article at a mutually agreed upon rate.
